How to choose the chiller that best suits your needs

An industrial chiller is as useful as any other equipment out there. People have benefited greatly from its functionalities and large industries are an example. Industrial or process chillers take away heat from water and transfer it to another which could either be air or water too. This process results in a much cooler environment. These industrial chillers also protect other processing equipment that is prone to destruction when placed in too much heat. It helps companies save lots of money in equipment purchase since they are able to maintain the current one they’ve got.

Types of Chillers:

Air cooled chiller – This type of chiller soaks up heat from process water and then transfers it to air. These types of chillers are best used in places where the heat given off will not be a problem. They require less maintenance and do not use any water pumps or cooling towers.

Water cooled chiller – This type of chiller follows the same cycle as that of the air-cooled chiller but instead of transferring it to air, the heat is transferred to another water source. If the heat given off would be a problem, this chiller is the best choice. However, this chiller needs a cooling pump and condense water pump to prevent mineral buildup.

Portable chiller – This type of chiller can be transferred from one are to another and can be used to cool more than one device.

Industrial chillers are beneficial to us but you need to take into consideration some factors that surround your work area and decide which chiller best suits you.
